Gwendraeth Arts Lab Just spent a wonderful evening at our first self directed Sketchbook Walk.
We chose Pembrey Harbour as it is a truly magically place on the Carmarthenshire coastline.
Here are some images from the evening…
Thank you to everyone who came today to sketch at St Mary’s Church, Kidwelly.
I hope I can speak for everyone, to say that it was a truly inspiring experience in a wonderful historic place and we are definitely coming back!
Also to the wonderful team of volunteers who are creating a wonderful experience for the people of Kidwelly for tomorrow Remembrance Sunday Centenary,
Red and Purple poppies everywhere creatively produced and displayed throughout the town and around the Church where we were sketching today, thank you.
Half the group of 15 (which is fab when it was just a horrid day) ended up in Time for Tea on the High Street for a well deserved cuppa!
Our next meeting is on Saturday 8th December 3-4pm at the Kidwelly Community Hub, for Christmas Drinks and Mince Pies for us to say thank you for all your support.
If you are interested in joining us then please email us at email@example.com and we can keep you posted on all our up and coming events.
We just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone that took part in the ‘Drawing on the Past” Sketchbook Walks, supported and participants at our Mural Painting Day at the Kidwelly Industrial Museum.
All involved produced an amazing piece of work and it’s all due to the wonderful participants who have been so committed and have been wonderfully creative and inspiring over the last few months.
We hope that all that have been involved will be able to continue with us on our next adventure.
In the mean time here are few images of our mural painting day… enjoy!
