On Saturday 12th September 2020 we are going to have our first photography workshop!
We would like you to join us and our Associate Documentary Photography Ray Hobbs for ‘Mindful Photography’
At the Burry Port Harbour (East) SA16 0ER at 11am, the session will run till 12.30pm.
With the use of a camera you are invited to express your feelings about the Carmarthen Bay Power Generation Plant, which was demolished in 1990.
Since demolition there has been extensive natural erosion of the beach and the man-made and natural cliffs, which has exposed fragments of machinery and the original structures.
You are invited to consider this industrial ephemera #beachheritage
If you can’t make it in person then please check out Ray’s presentation below and follow your own Mindful Photography’ session from whatever location is suitable to you. Enjoy!
And remember to post and share your photos if you want on instagram and twitter and Facebook and tag with #beachheritage and #gwendraethartslab @gwendraethartslab
